The Mechanically Actuated Stance Controlled Knee Ankle Foot Orthotic MASC-KAFO is developed at BETiC IIT Bombay. This is an orthotics for supporting lower limb of patients with reduced muscle power and compromised stability for daily activities.

Our Vision

Due to the unavailability of dynamic KAFO from NGO & Govt. Hospitals in India & private companies selling it for very high price, 95% of the people that require dynamic KAFO are unable to get it. So we decided to make our own dynamic KAFO at an affordable price for everyone and also to supply it to NGO & Govt. Hospitals such that people in need can get it for free from the NGO & Govt Hospitals.
